TALKING PALESTINE: ANTI-ZIONIST CONVERSATION SKILLS FOR ALLIES

THE TALKING
PALESTINE
PROJECT

Changing minds is hard.

We've all been there.

You know the facts. You know the history. Where you struggle is the conversation itself.

Are you passionate about Palestinian liberation, but tongue-tied whenever your relatives break out those hasbara talking points? Sick of avoiding the subject, burning bridges, or arguing in circles and getting nowhere? You're not alone.

I'm building a course, toolkit, and community for anti-Zionist allies looking to call in their loved ones, sharpen their Palestine advocacy and persuasion skills, and take on difficult conversations with clarity and confidence.

Hi! I'm Kat. Over the last decade as a educator and organizer, building and facilitating deep-dive courses on the history of Zionist settler colonialism in Palestine, I've heard the exact same question from students year after year and year: "This is great... but how do I convince my mother / sibling / coworker / roommate?"

Even with all the facts and evidence right at our fingertips, so many allies still struggle to communicate effectively about Palestine and Zionism with our families and friends. Because most advocacy focuses on information and analysis - and information alone rarely changes anyone's mind. That's why I decided to create "Talking Palestine."

Together, we'll explore:

How do people actually change their minds?

How do you talk to loved ones without destroying the relationship?

How do you respond effectively to misinformation?

How do you know who's worth engaging with - and who's not?
